Sonya Arriaga

Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Arriaga brings more than two decades of law enforcement and command-level experience, leading complex, high-stakes investigations and large-scale operations. She began her career with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department, serving in Patrol, the correctional facility, and the Narcotics Unit.

She later joined the San Jose Police Department, where she worked Patrol before advancing to the Detective Bureau in Narcotics. Ms. Arriaga was subsequently recruited to the California Department of Justice as a Special Agent, where she rose to the rank of Operations Commander, overseeing the largest task force in the United States.

Under her command, the task force achieved record-setting drug seizure results. During this time, she was assigned to work alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where she led investigations that resulted in the dismantling of a large-scale organized crime group. Her leadership and operational success earned her numerous commendations, including the prestigious Gil Pompa Award from Washington, D.C.

Throughout her career, Ms. Arriaga has operated at the highest levels of law enforcement, working in coordination with local, state, federal, and international agencies. She is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and has served as an instructor in Strategic Planning, training command staff officers across the United States.

Her impact has been widely recognized—she was named one of Silicon Valley’s 100 Most Powerful People by San Jose Magazine and has been featured on 60 Minutes, the Los Angeles Times, the San Jose Mercury News, and other national media outlets.

Ms. Arriaga serves as Chief Operating Officer of Insight Group, Inc., where she leads the firm’s investigative and security operations, providing strategic direction on complex, high-risk matters and driving the company’s continued growth and reputation for excellence.

Kenneth W. Pitts

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Pitts brings decades of experience leading complex, high-stakes investigations, backed by a deep foundation in organizational leadership, program management, and human resources. Following a distinguished 25-year career in law enforcement, he transitioned into the private sector, where he continues to operate as a licensed investigator, security consultant, and security manager on sensitive and high-risk matters.

Prior to retiring as a San Jose Police Lieutenant in the Robbery Unit, Mr. Pitts held leadership roles across some of the department’s most demanding assignments, including Field Operations, Intelligence and Special Investigations, Narcotics, Homicide, the Crime Scene Unit, and Patrol Special Operations (SWAT). He also spent more than seven years working undercover, conducting investigations targeting narcotics trafficking and organized crime groups.

Mr. Pitts is a fully licensed Private Investigator and Private Patrol Operator. In the private sector, he has led investigations involving corporate theft, fraud, cargo theft, workplace violence, and protection of trade secrets. He also served as Senior Corporate Security Manager for a multinational biotechnology company in the Palo Alto area, where he developed and implemented a comprehensive Emergency Response Plan and directed physical security operations across U.S. and European facilities.

Mr. Pitts is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and holds the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation. He is also a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI).

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and has completed advanced training, including the U.S. Secret Service Dignitary Protection Course, the State of California Dignitary Protection Course, the Los Angeles Police SWAT Academy, and training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Mr. Pitts serves as Chief Executive Officer of Insight Group, Inc., where he provides strategic leadership and oversight of complex investigative and security operations.
